Operation of Center for Next Generation ICT (in cooperation with KAIST)

The Center for Next Generation ICT supports artificial intelligence education and technology forums in small- and medium-sized venture enterprises in Seongnam and the development of cooperative tasks with KAIST using KAIST’s excellent resources and workforce.

Division Support contents
Intensive training on artificial intelligence
  • Period/scale : Operation through recruitment in first and second half of the year / about 25 people per class
    - [First half] Mar.-Apr. / every Friday
    - [Second half] Aug.-Sep. / every Friday
  • Loation : Connect21 Education Center (21F of KINS Tower, Jeongja-dong)
  • Field : ntroduction of basic knowledge on machine learning, the latest deep learning skills. and learning about audio-visual techniques
  • Method : 4-hour lecture and 3-hour practical exercise
Seongnam-KAIST ICT
Mar.-Nov. (breakfast on third Friday of every month)
  • Period : Mar.-Nov. (breakfast on third Friday of every month)
  • Field : Future cars, medical treatment and healthcare, cyber-physical system
  • Method : Sectoral lectures and Q&A, networking, etc.
EE Co-op program
  • Method :
    Recruitment notice → interviews with companies and students → final matching/dispatch → collaboration (up to 6 months)
    - [Dispatch of undergraduate students] Tasks are conducted by sending junior and senior undergraduate students of KAIST electric and electronic engineering departments to corporate offices (personnel expenditure KRW 500,000 per month)

    - [Matching with graduate students] Graduate students and tutors of KAIST electric and electronic engineering departments participate to carry out advisory and joint research (KRW 1 million per month for up to 6 months/monthly support, corporate levy)
